The Garmin Edge 800 Wireless bicycle computer is the top dog of GPS-enabled biking computers. It has almost all of the features from previous Edge units and adds 1 more showstopper; a touch screen. Provides valuable data for any type of biking; training, touring, commuting and even mountain cycling thanks to its rugged waterproof design. Touch screen provides easy navigation and access even with gloves on; simply tap to pan, zoom or see additional information screens. Highly sensitive GPS receiver tracks your position where less sophisticated units will not, providing a continuous reliable fix on your position. ANT+ Sport wireless technology transfers speed, cadence and heart rate data from included sensors to unit. Built-in barometric altimeter provides accurate elevations and maintains a profile of your ascents and descents. Virtual Partner(TM) brings fun to training by letting you ''race'' a virtual competitor. You can also race against a recorded course to match or beat previously set speeds at every point along the way. Auto Pause(TM) pauses the training timer when you decelerate below a specified speed and resumes once you've regained targeted speed. Auto Lap(TM) triggers a lap every time you pass a specified location or travel a preset distance. Included micro SD card is preloaded with City Navigator that contains street maps for the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Compatible with Garmin Connect(TM): an online community for workout data sharing and analysis. Compatible with most third party ANT+ enabled power meters, which measure cyclists' output at the pedals. Unit measures 2 x 3.7 x 1 in.; display area is 1.4 x 2.2 in., and 160 x 240 pixels; screen is readable in daylight. Waterproof design; unit is submersible to 1m for 30 min. (do not operate submerged). Please note: the Edge 800 does not include wireless data transfer between other Edge units.
